SAN JOSE, Calif. – The San Jose Earthquakes announced today that the club has signed forward Quincy Amarikwa and defender Jordan Stewart to new contracts. Per league and team policy, terms of the deals were not disclosed.
Amarikwa, 28, is a seven-year MLS veteran with 21 goals and 14 assists in 144 career games. Amarikwa was acquired by San Jose on June 26 from the Chicago Fire in exchange for defender Ty Harden. He tallied six goals, all of which came on the road, and four assists in 17 games for the Quakes during the 2015 season.
