San Jose Earthquakes midfielder Matheus Silva is in a "critical condition" according to the MLS club after receiving life-saving resuscitation after going swimming in Lake Tahoe.
The Earthquakes released a statement on Tuesday after Silva was pulled out of the water:

Silva, 20, is currently on loan with Reno 1868 FC, who also released a statement:
Reno's statement added that he is "stable" despite his critical condition.
