The San Jose Earthquakes announced that they have made a trade with Toronto FC that will move them down four spots in the allocation ranking in return for $75,000 of General Allocation Money (GAM) and $75,000 of Targeted Allocation Money (TAM). This extra money can be used by new manager Matias Almeyda to begin rebuilding this squad in his vision.
