Earthquakes Loan Thompson, Jahn to USL Affiliate Sacramento Republic FC

SAN JOSE, Calif. – The San Jose Earthquakes have loaned midfielder Tommy Thompson and forward Adam Jahn to the club’s USL affiliate Sacramento Republic FC ahead of their season-opening match against Seattle Sounders FC 2 on Friday, March 25. Per the Right of Recall incorporated in the two agreements, San Jose retains the right to recall both players at any point during the MLS regular season, subject to MLS roster compliance guidelines.

Thompson, 20, has played in 32 matches (12 starts) for San Jose since signing the first-ever Homegrown contract with the club in 2014. He has appeared in eight USL matches on loan with Republic FC over the last two seasons, making five starts.
