SAN JOSE, Calif. – The San Jose Earthquakes announced today that the club has acquired Panamanian international midfielder Alberto Quintero on loan from Lobos BUAP for the 2016 season, pending receipt of his P-1 Visa and ITC.
"Alberto is an electrifying player," said Earthquakes general manager John Doyle. "He is technically very good, can score goals and also set them up and has a wealth of international experience,”
Quintero, 28, most recently played for Lobos BUAP in Ascenso MX in Mexico. Over his career, Quintero has played in the top leagues in Panama, Colombia and Bolivia, as well as for clubs in Spain and Mexico.
