SAN JOSE, CALIF. - The U.S. Under-15 Boys’ National Team head coach Dave van den Bergh has called up Gilbert Fuentes from the San Jose Earthquakes Academy along with 35 more players to take part in the team’s second and final domestic training camp of the year, set to take place from Nov. 5-12 in Bradenton, Fla.
Fuentes, 14, currently plays for the Earthquakes Academy U-16 squad.
“Gilbert is an outstanding young player,” said Earthquakes Academy U-18 and U-16 head coach Paul Holocher. “An attacking midfielder who was born in 2002 and is playing up a year, he is an outstanding talent with great technical qualities, instincts and balance.
