On Day 2 of the Generation adidas Cup, the San Jose Earthquakes U-17 squad fell 2-1 to Denmark's FC Midtylland. Homegrown midfielder Gilbert Fuentes was among the man-of-the-match candidates after opening the score sheet with a volley.
