Clash Career: San Jose selected Liner in the 14th round of the 1996 MLS Inaugural Player Draft. He was the Clash’s starting goalkeeper for the 1996 season, playing in twenty games with a 7-12-0 record and 1.73 goals against average. He was limited to two games in 1997 due to injury and retired from professional soccer at the season’s end.
