Tim Lincecum has been throwing at the San Francisco Giants' facilities in Arizona over the past of couple weeks, and the former Cy Young Award winner is reportedly very close to the showcase he's been working toward for the past several months.
The pitching exhibition could happen as early as next week, according to Jon Heyman of CBS Sports. Heyman also reported that the Giants remain interested in the right-hander -- who has been reportedly been hitting low-90s on the gun -- but are far from the only team eyeing him.
lincecum is still using giants fields in arizona. his old team is interested, but showcase likely to draw 20 teams.

The Giants are likely more interested in Lincecum than ever before given the state of their bullpen. Their relievers have a combined 4.61 ERA, which puts them at No. 23 in MLB. The lingering issue is the fact that Lincecum still wants to start, which could allow another team to jump in front of San Francisco.
