Friday the San Francisco Giants and infielder Yangervis Solarte agreed to a minor league deal. Solarte has a real shot at making the team, and if he does… He’ll earm $1.75 million and can make an additional $250k in incentives.
Solarte is a switch-hitter and provides depth to the Giants roster. He’s coming off a down year for the Toronto Blue Jays where he hit .226 with 17 homers. Which means his down year, was still more pop than the Giants had in 2018!
