Luis and Christine Gonzalez took a family photo with their kids at home in Scottsdale, Ariz., on Monday night. Christine wore a Giants cap, as did triplets Megan, Jacob and Alyssa.
Luis? He went cap-less.
"We're a divided family now," the retired 19-year major-leaguer said by phone Tuesday. "I still work in the Diamondbacks front office."
Jacob Gonzalez soon will work for the Giants, who selected him with their second pick in the 2017 amateur draft. The 6-foot-4 third baseman hit .489 for Chaparral High and, like first-rounder Heliot Ramos, have some pop. Both hit balls into the bleachers at AT&T Park during draft workouts.
