Maybe Will Clark is a fit for Cooperstown after all?
The former Giants star first baseman Will Clark is among 10 finalists the Baseball Hall of Fame’s Today’s Game Era committee will consider for enshrinement next month.
Clark and two other one-time Giants, pitcher Orel Hershiser and outfielder Joe Carter, joined former A’s designated hitter Harold Baines among the finalists who’ll be considered when the 16-person committee meets at the winter meetings on Dec. 9.
The Today’s Game Era picked the best candidates who were active from 1998 until present. Any candidate who receives at least 12 of 16 votes when the committee meets in Las Vegas will be elected to the Hall of Fame.
