San Francisco Giants legend Will Clark was known as a fiery person when he was playing for the orange and black. Clearly, that fire is still there when it comes to the Giants, their recent play on the field and the greater analytical movement in the sport.
The latest episode of Clark's “Deuces Wild” podcast with Eric Byrnes, a former A’s player, saw the Giants’ special assistant go on a 10-minute tirade about the organization in the aftermath of the team firing Farhan Zaidi and hiring Buster Posey.
When asked by Byrnes to offer his thoughts on the move, Clark corroborated last week’s reports from John Shea at the San Francisco Chronicle, sharing that Zaidi got involved in some of manager Bob Melvin’s lineup decisions during the season.
