The Giants are ready to welcome back one of their former pitchers to formally wish him a farewell.
Ryan Vogelsong will be honored Sunday at AT&T Park before the Giants face the Arizona Diamondbacks, according to the team’s website. The right-hander spent 12 nonconsecutive seasons in the major leagues, seven of those with the team that used a fifth-round pick to draft him out of Kutztown in 1998.

He will officially retire as a member of the Giants.
