It’s a new era for the Giants.
After over a decade under the management of Bruce Bochy -- a run that included three World Series titles -- Gabe Kapler has taken the reigns after two seasons managing the Philadelphia Phillies.
Kapler assembled a unique staff, featuring a lot of young, up-and-coming names along with MLB’s first full-time female coach in Alyssa Nakken.
The 44-year-old went on KNBR and opined about what he’s been most impressed with from his first group of assistant coaches.
“To me what stands out most across camp, is how our coaches have built environments for our players to flourish and develop,” Kapler said on the “Murph & Mac” show.
