With Yusei Kikuchi off the board and headed to the Seattle Mariners, the San Francisco Giants aren’t “in” on any of the remaining bigger name free agents, but it doesn’t seem like they’re “in” on anyone these days. This has left Giants fans to wonder, “What’s going on?” and “Does this Farhad Zuitsuit guy know what he’s doing?”
Evidently, Farhan Zaidi, the new president of baseball operations for the San Francisco Giants, does know what he’s doing. The Giants were so sure of that, they have given Farhan free reign to do what he does. All jokes about Tom Hanks movies aside; that thing he does is fix teams.
