The Carlos Correa and Aaron Judge episodes exist within the larger saga of the San Francisco Giants and their pursuit of top of the market free agents. They were both more sensational than the usual song, dance, and rejection that has been the plot of every prior episode, and so they feel a lot more deflating than in years past.
