The San Francisco Giants started a four-game series against the Colorado Rockies last night. Hopefully they kicked that team in purple’s butt. I’m going to assume they did, but I’m writing this about four hours before the game starts so ... best of luck, I guess.
It’s the final series before Tuesday’s trade deadline. Which means it’s the team’s final chance to prove to Farhan Zaidi that they deserve to make a run this year.
The Giants could enter the deadline on a four-game winning streak, within two games of .500, staring down a series with the Oakland A’s, and looking like a team that has life.
