There have been a lot of pitcher updates for the San Francisco Giants in the last few days and weeks, and thankfully most of them have been good news. This one is good news, too, though it’s not much in the way of new news.
The Giants announced, with thanks to The Athletic’s Andrew Baggarly for announcing it, that Blake Snell will make a rehab appearance tonight for AAA Sacramento, and will throw 75-80 pitches. The expectation remains that Snell will then join the rotation early next week, though I think we can all agree to put that one down in pencil.
