The rumor mill is churning, churning, churning ever onward as the off-season continues to slog along. Currently, the San Francisco Giants are reportedly considered to be the top landing spot for another highly accomplished veteran pitcher.
According to Kerry Miller of Bleacher Report, the Giants are viewed as one of the teams most likely to sign free agent Max Scherzer to a similar deal as Justin Verlander.
I’m trying to imagine telling my 2012-self that the two would potentially reunite in their 40s and playing for the Giants.
