The American League beat the National League 5-3 in the MLB All-Star Game on Tuesday, thus ending the All-Star festivities: the game is over, the home run derby is over, the three-day, 20-round draft is over, and all of the festivities are over. The break will live on for a few more days, but we’ve officially put a bow on the first half of the season: the second act begins on Friday, when the San Francisco Giants visit the Colorado Rockies.
It was not a particularly fruitful game for the Giants.
