Logan Webb had to work hard against the Nationals lineup. They put lots of balls in play and racked up nine hits against him but only plated one run. Webb managed to come up with big strikeouts (seven total) when he needed them. This same lineup tacked a five-spot on Anthony DeSclafani in the 1st inning on Monday night in that weird 5-1 loss. TonyD followed that with six scoreless. He gave up six singles and one double in that inning. Webb gave up eight singles and one double and walked only one in his seven frames.
