After getting shelled for nine runs and allowing four home runs in his previous start on Wednesday, the San Francisco Giants ace walked off the mound to a standing ovation at the sold out San Jose Municipal Stadium and bounced back with a vintage performance, striking out eight batters while allowing only two hits and no earned runs in six innings of work against the Modesto Nuts on Monday.
