DENVER -- Giants starter Ryan Vogelsong found poetic justice at Coors Field on Thursday night. He entered the game with an ERA of 7.14 as a starter (six starts) and in the first inning, yielded a two-run shot to Carlos Gonzalez that nearly hit the concourse in left field.
Then, with his team down 4-0 in the top of the third, Vogelsong drove the first pitch he saw from Chris Rusin into the Rockies' bullpen for his own two-run shot, notching his first career home run in 11 big league seasons and cutting the lead in half.
