Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic reported (paid subscription required) that the Giants had asked permission to interview Los Angeles Dodgers GM Farhan Zaidi. Zaidi and team president Andrew Friedman declined to comment on the possibility at an end of the year news conference.
Kim Ng
Andrew Baggerly, who writes for The Athletic, reported (paid subscription required) that the Giants did in fact interview senior vice president of baseball operations for MLB Kim Ng for the GM job.
