Good morning, baseball fans!
The Silver Slugger finalists were announced yesterday, and the San Francisco Giants have two players that made the cut.
Brandon Crawford is up against Fernando Tatis, Jr. (San Diego Padres), Trea Turner (Los Angeles Dodgers) and Willy Adames (Milwaukee Brewers). Crawford had a 6.1 bWAR season, batting .298 on the season with an .895 OPS. Crawford led the team in hits, runs, runs batted in and tied with Buster Posey for walks. This would be Crawford’s second Silver Slugger, his first coming in 2015 where his numbers weren’t as good.
