Happy Tuesday, San Francisco Giants fans.
It seems that the 2023 MLB Winter Meetings will be fairly uneventful. Sunday and Monday were extremely quiet. There was no Arson Judge situation, and it seems like there won’t be.
The meetings conclude on Wednesday, when the Rule 5 Draft will take place, and it seems quite possible that not much of note will happen between now and then.
Publicly, at least. The Winter Meetings are still very important, and players, agents, and decision-makers will all be getting the wheels spinning on moves that may happen after everyone departs Nashville, a city chosen for this landmark event despite not having an MLB team.
