On Saturday, Oracle Park hosted the baseball teams from Paradise High School and Corning High School to play a game on one of baseball’s biggest stages.
As you likely recall, Paradise was almost completely destroyed by the Camp Fire that raged throughout the area last fall, the deadliest in the state’s history. The Giants did their part to help boost the spirits of not only the town’s baseball team, but the entire community.
Buster Posey shared his best wishes for the community and the team, and shortly afterwards, Paradise catcher and Buster Posey fan Nicholas Baker got to have the experience of a lifetime.
