According to TMZ Sports that’s precisely what a Pennsylvania man did last year. Posing as former Giants pitcher Tim Lincecum, a two-time Cy Young Award-winner, the fraud wheedled autographed memorabilia from Baltimore Ravens tight end Hayden Hurst, ostensibly for a charity donation.

Among the items that Hurst dutifully passed along to the faux Freak were two jerseys inscribed, “My guy! 12/9/19/ game used, 3 rec, 73 yards, 1 TD.”
Almost one year later, Hurst’s agent Phillip Walls recognized the sting after seeing his client’s donations to the Lincecum imposter were up for sale online.
