On Wednesday, the San Francisco Giants signed two players to Minor League contracts. According to @giantsprospects, the Giants signed 25-year old LHP Sam Long, and 31-year old OF Jason Krizan.
Long was drafted in the 18th round in 2016, and played A-ball in 2019 for the Chicago White Sox, which was his highest level thus far. He had a 3.06 ERA and 3.04 FIP, with 10.4 strikeouts and 2.6 walks per nine innings.
Krizan was drafted in the eighth round in 2011 by the Detroit Tigers.
