I know that this is Very Petty. I’m aware, you don’t need to tell me. But today we have to talk about something only tangentially related to the Giants.
You see, our old friend Hunter Strickland is at it again. And by “at it” I don’t mean “punching doors” or “starting fights” (yet). I mean giving up home runs to Bryce Harper.
In Tuesday night’s game between the Nationals and Phillies, Strickland allowed a home run to Harper. And it just felt so satisfying, after the stunt he pulled with the Giants a couple of years ago.
