CINCINNATI — When Buster Posey launched a fifth inning grand slam in Game 5 of the 2012 NLDS, Reds catcher Ryan Hannigan offered one of the most memorable reactions to a play in Giants history.
When Posey connected, Hannigan left his crouch, turned away and began a dejected walk behind home plate.
The Giants signed Ryan Hanigan, which is a good move because now I get to tweet this: pic.twitter.com/Ay3e4NHDe3
On Friday night in Cincinnati, another Giants catcher made loud contact and another Reds catcher gave the visiting dugout all the feedback it needed to know where the ball was headed.
