Pitchers and catchers report this week, which means another season of San Francisco Giants baseball is just weeks away. Have you caught the fever?

It’s easy to understand if you have not, yet, caught said fever. Because after a thrilling start to the winter — signing the best shortstop on the market in Willy Adames to a franchise-record contract — the Giants, basically, closed up shop. The few weeks where they were listed as the favorite to sign Corbin Burnes were a nice distraction, but in the end, the team added Adames, soon-to-be-42-year-old Justin Verlander and some innocuous depth options.
