Teoscar Hernández’s 2-out RBIs continued to haunt the San Francisco Giants in the second game of their four game series in Los Angeles.
In the Dodgers’ final offensive frame on Monday, Hernández lined a 2-strike fastball up the middle to drive in the decisive run, and in the 1st inning of Tuesday’s game, Gavin Lux hooked a 2-out, 2-2 sweeper from Jordan Hicks into the right field corner for a 2-run double.
An early deficit that the Giants could only feed with their own tortuous inability to close-out frames. A K is still three strikes.
