WEST SACRAMENTO, CA. - The River Cats continued to roll, winning their seventh consecutive game Sunday night as they beat the Round Rock Express 3-2. Andrew Susac scored twice in the win and hit the go-ahead home run in the bottom of the eighth.
Susac started the game behind the plate and in the three spot in the lineup in his second River Cats rehab start. A night removed from an 0-for-4 performance, the 25-year-old catcher came through Sunday in a big way for Sacramento. He started a fifth-inning rally with a single to left field, scoring the first River Cats run of the night on Kevin Frandsen's two-run double.
