Good morning, McCoven!

On a scale of 1-10, just how sick of the Cincinnati Reds are you? I feel like this happens at least once per season, where they play a non-division rival National League team twice in the span of a week-ish, and it can lead to disaster. The broadcasters often imply that familiarity can breed contempt when it comes to playing the same team too often, and that was on full display last year when the Giants faced the Miami Marlins twice in a little over a week in June.

This series included two blown saves for Hunter Strickland, which prompted him to punch a door and break his pitching hand, which prompted the rest of the team to retaliate (not against the door, oddly enough) and it was all kinds of dumb.
