Somehow Matt Chapman and Patrick Bailey and Marco Luciano and Camilo Doval and the San Francisco Giants have done it again. They were incredible and clutch and patient; and they were torturous and shaky and worrisome—all of this again, again, again.
For the third game in a row, the Giants erased a lead of 4 or more runs to win. A franchise first, and the first time a MLB team has done it in 25 years. The last time a team has achieved it on the road: the Gashouse Gang in Philadelphia when Herbert Hoover was president.
