Former Cy Young winner Blake Snell, one of the final remaining jewels of MLB’s 2024 free agent class, threw four simulated innings for prospective suitors on Friday in his hometown of Seattle. MLB.com’s Mark Feinsand reported the Giants and Houston Astros were both at the showcase. Feinsand said teams were “impressed with how ready (Snell) looks.”
MLB insider Jon Heyman said on social media that the Giants were one of four or five teams in attendance.
With Opening Day just around the corner, Snell is still without a home despite being one of the best available starting pitchers.
