With just 10 days until opening day, the San Francisco Giants finally landed the ace they needed to fill the hole in their rotation.
Reigning National League Cy Young Award winner Blake Snell has agreed to a deal with the Giants, according to multiple reports; Jon Heyman of the New York Post was first with the news. Snell is reportedly signing a two-year deal worth $62 million with an opt-out after the first year.
According to the San Francisco Chronicle’s Susan Slusser, Snell will make $15 million in 2024 and have a $17 million signing bonus deferred until 2026.
