The SF Giants made one final change to their roster before their final game of the first half, optioning right-handed pitcher Tyler Beede and recalling southpaw Caleb Baragar. Baragar has been a staple in the Giants pen for much of the past two seasons, but Beede had been activated after working his way back from UCL surgery last spring. Beede made his first big-league appearance since 2019 in Saturday’s 10-4 victory over the Nationals.
