It was a pretty big deal when Buster Posey, the former star catcher and now part-owner of the San Francisco Giants, announced he was moving back to the Bay Area last year.
In that move back, Posey has landed in the same town he previously called home. Realtor.com reported on Tuesday that in 2023 the former MVP bought a six-bedroom, six-and-a-half-bathroom house for $8.3 million in Lafayette, the same town he previously lived in during the majority of his playing career.
When Posey announced his retirement after 2021, he and his family moved back to Georgia, where Posey grew up.
