SF Giants' Farhan Zaidi is already threatening to pull the plug on the season

The San Francisco Giants are faced with an ultimatum: improve by the end of the month, or kiss the season goodbye.

This die was publicly cast on Thursday, when president of baseball operations Farhan Zaidi spoke with KNBR. The interview happened shortly after San Francisco fell to the Toronto Blue Jays, 5-3 — the team’s second loss in a row and their fourth in five games — so the energy wasn’t exactly optimistic.

“Look, we’re four games under .500 now,” Zaidi said on the "Tolbert and Copes" show. “We have some great storylines, [Heliot] Ramos, Logan Webb making the All-Star team for the first time.
