The San Francisco Giants announced their 60-man roster on Monday. A bit later than most clubs, but at least we know it.
They didn't quite use all of it either, with just 51 players on what is officially the "60-man player pool," if you want to be technical. That leaves them nine spots to add players later.
Teams will be limited to 30 players for their major league roster with the rest serving as a taxi squad for when injuries or ineffective play inevitably arise.
The Giants announced 25 pitchers (17 right-handers, eight left-handers), four catchers, 12 infielders and 10 outfielders for their initial roster.
