Hello and happy Saturday.
This is kind of a rude article.
On Friday night, San Diego Padres pitcher Joe Musgrove threw a no-hitter against the Texas Rangers. It was a special moment, and not just because it was the Padres first game since playing the San Francisco Giants — thanks for that timing, folks.
It was special because it was the first no-hitter in the history of the Padres franchise.
We take no-hitters for granted as Giants fans, because we can rattle off Matt Cain, Jonathan Sanchez, Tim Lincecum, Tim Lincecum again, and Chris Heston without having to think twice.
