Hello and happy Saturday. Here’s hoping your day is better than the San Francisco Giants game was last night.
But it’s not all bad news for the Giants. On Friday morning they welcomed back a friendly face: Reyes Moronta. The right-handed pitcher tore a labrum in his throwing shoulder on Aug. 31, and underwent surgery in September. He’s still a little ways away from returning to the roster, but the Giants added him to the player pool so that he could continue to rehab at the Alternate Training Site in Sacramento.
There’s some hope that he’ll be back on the mound during this season, which would be a joy to watch.
