The San Francisco Giants reached double digits in scoring for the second time in three games, beating the Colorado Rockies by a score of 10-4. After the game the team optioned today’s starter Clayton Blackburn and reliever Steven Okert to Triple-A, and reassigned Kyle Blanks to minor league camp.

The Giants have begun to thin out the roster by sending down Blackburn and Okert, as well as reassigning Blanks. Blackburn has had a great spring, and will most likely be on the minds of the Giants’ brass when a starter is needed during the season.
