San Francisco Giants fans have been waiting for the team to make any sort of positive addition to the roster this offseason.
After seeing the likes of Will Smith and Kevin Pillar depart — with Madison Bumgarner likely not too far behind — Giants fans needed something to be positive about.
At the very least, they just wanted to see their team add a player instead of letting one walk. And on Wednesday they got just that.
The Giants agreed to a trade with the Los Angeles Angels for veteran shortstop Zack Cozart and top prospect Will Wilson in exchange for cash considerations and a player to be named later.
