The San Francisco Giants rode the bats of of Jarrett Parker, Hunter Pence, and Nick Hundley and the arm of Jeff Samardzija to win against Arizona.
Parker started the scoring with a two run home run in the second inning. Pence followed that up with a two run single in the third. Then, it was Hundley’s turn with a two run single in the fifth.
Samardzija went 6 1/3 innings, allowing three runs, while striking out three and walking three. The Giants used four pitchers in the seventh inning, which ended with Albert Suarez getting A.
