A.J. Ellis, hit a pinch hit two run home run in the 11th inning to send the Giants into the break with a five game losing streak. Giancarlo Stantonhit followed that up with his second home run of the game in the 11th to end the 1st half with 26 bombs.
The Marlins initially blew it open in the seventh inning with four runs to break open what was a 3-3 tie. Johnny Cueto pitched into the seventh, but loaded the bases before being pulled.
The Giants started the scoring with a two run home run from Brandon Crawford in the second inning.
