San Francisco Giants sign Brandon Crawford to a six-year extension through 2021

Just days after winning both the Gold Glove and Silver Slugger Award, San Francisco Giants shortstop Brandon Crawford’s week just got that much better. After recent reports of San Francisco and Crawford mutually wanting to agree on a long-term contract, the Giants officially announced Tuesday afternoon that an agreement has been made.

The deal will be cover his final two arbitration years (2015-2016) as well as four more years (2017-2021). According to Ken Rosenthal of Fox Sports, the deal is guaranteed 6-year/$75 million guaranteed contract with a full no-trade clause.
